Challenges

Video content demand is exploding for brands, creators, and agencies, but finding highly skilled editors who can consistently produce polished, platform-ready videos is time-consuming. Clients often waste time screening talent, training freelancers, and managing revisions across multiple tools.

GOAL

Design and build an intuitive marketplace where users can quickly find, hire, and collaborate with vetted professional video editors. The platform should streamline discovery, onboarding, project briefs, reviews, and delivery — all from a unified experience.

Target Audience

Marketing teams, creative agencies, social media managers, and independent creators who need premium video editing support without the overhead of hiring, recruitment, or ongoing freelancer management.

Our Role

Design
Develop.

We designed & developed the PopCut bubble app platform end-to-end. The experience was built with clear user journeys for both clients and editors. The User Interface was crafted in Figma, defining reusable systems and interaction patterns and the end-product was developed in Bubble platform to deliver functional, scalable marketplace features.

Collaboration

Collaborated closely with the founders and core stakeholders to shape PopCut’s marketplace vision and user experience. Through regular discussions and feedback cycles, we aligned business goals with user needs for both clients and editors, ensuring the platform balanced usability, trust, and scalability across all key workflows.

Contributions

Led the complete design and development of the PopCut platform from concept to execution. Designed high-fidelity UI screens and detailed user flows in Figma, along with a reusable design system to maintain consistency across the marketplace. Developed the full web application in Bubble.io, implementing client onboarding, editor profiles, project workflows, and review systems while ensuring performance, usability, and future scalability.
