Challenges

Finding reliable academic tutors and sports coaches can be fragmented and time‑intensive for parents and learners alike. There was a lack of a centralized platform that combined quality vetting, scheduling, secure communication, and flexible pricing in one place.

GOAL

Design and build an intuitive coaching marketplace where students and parents can discover, compare, and connect with qualified coaches — with transparent reviews, flexible scheduling, and safety controls embedded into the experience.

Target Audience

Parents seeking academic support or sports coaching for their children, students looking for personalized tutoring, and coaches seeking flexible work with fair compensation and full control over their profiles and schedules.

Our Role

Design
Develop.

We were responsible for both design and development throughout the Super Coaches project. The platform was fully designed in Figma with careful attention to clarity, onboarding flows, and trust mechanisms. The final interactive web experience was developed in Bubble.io, bringing the design to life with robust matchmaking, scheduling, and profile management features.

Collaboration

Collaborated closely with founders and coaching domain experts to map out core user journeys for both parents/students and coaches. Regular alignment workshops refined the platform’s priorities, including vetting processes, session formats (1‑on‑1, group, virtual), and feedback systems, leading to a shared vision that balanced safety, quality, and usability.

Contributions

Led the end‑to‑end design and development of Super Coaches, focusing on detailed user flows, high‑fidelity designs, and an easy‑to‑navigate coaching marketplace. Built a design system in Figma to support scalable growth, then implemented all features in Bubble.io, including coach onboarding, session booking, profile management, reviews, and flexible scheduling, resulting in a functional platform launching without compromise on UX or performance.
